It’s only a first draft. It is not perfect. But there is a lot of information there that will help you at this time.

“How to Safely Get Your First Bitcoin” Tutorial and Commentary on the Ongoing Satanic Panic–Special Edition Monologue & Updates

We have just released a set of two Special Edition monologue files, which you will find at the Listen to the Occult Files Monologues page.

In the first part of the monologue I talk about my own personal experiences with the problem of information suppression and silencing as an author and a freelance writer over the past 20 years or so. I also mention the Satanic Panic, which it seems is not so much a thing of the past, but a problem of the present moment. I describe the effects of not knowing what you don’t know. The fact is we have all been subjected to centuries of information suppression because information and communications have been in the hands of those who are enemies to witches. This is a harm that is done to people without them even realizing that they are being harmed. I try to describe the insidious nature of this condition by giving some examples. The first part of the monologue is less than an hour long.

And, yes, these things are really happening! I had a fascinating conversation with a Wiccan yesterday–stranger-to-stranger–in a metaphysical book store. She did not know who I was or my profession, of course, and when I asked her if she knew about the suppression and silencing that was going on online and in more conventional publishing, she assured me that it was not happening, at all. Of course, I didn’t argue with her. I asked her about this because I wanted her opinion. It’s important to know the opinions of average members of our broad pagan community who are not writers, publishers, or merchants of metaphysical goods or services. But, even if you are not one of this group, you are still being harmed by information suppression and the denial of services to vital members of our community, but you may not know it, which is why information suppression is so insidious. It’s analogous to an undetectable, yet deadly poisonous gas. It’s a slow death and you may never even believe it exists because you can’t see it.

In the second part of the monologue, I describe the nature of the present-day financial system, which is not a friend to witches and occultists.  I describe ways that alternative means of transaction (Bitcoin) can help all kinds of oppressed individuals in many different situations, including instances in which we have important, useful, even vital information and no way to share it safely because of suppression. In the last part of the video, I tell you and show you with some slides how to get your first experience with cryptocurrency without endangering your privacy. I also talk about Bitcoin for occult merchants. Presently, metaphysical bookstores and other providers of goods and services in our community are being denied full banking services and we are all being subjected to higher than average banking fees. This means when you go to a metaphysical book store to buy a gemstone, a ritual instrument, ritual garments, occult books, etc., you are paying more (even if you pay with cash!) because the bankers are charging our merchants more simply for selling occult items. Yes, this is overt religious discrimination, but the banks aren’t really a government entity, they are a private religious organization posing as a secular one. Of course, this is also happening, whether the average member of our community knows it or not. If they don’t see a problem, they don’t see a need for a solution to it. But, the problem still exists and it is a bad one that is not getting better.

Most witches like to be informed. We like to know what is going on and it is difficult to find this information at places like YouTube and Facebook, especially right now. There is a new chapter on how to make a cold wallet (a basic and necessary skill) for Bitcoin and altcoins and how to get your first Bitcoin and altcoins, including some games and job sites for freelancers, as well as ideas for all kinds of witches and occultists who do not appreciate authoritarianism and want to get yourselves free from the modern Inquisition. In the ebook is a little more information about acquiring cryptocurrencies without compromising your privacy and security at custodial exchanges, which are popular, but dangerous places. I also extended the chapter talking about some of the shenanigans going on and why we are trying to move ourselves and others in our community in a more positive–and more prosperous–direction.

The reason I made the ebook and placed it at MediaFire is because every one is under heavy algorithmic and some other kinds of suppression. For these reasons, what I can say here is limited. I can say a little more in the ebook and the Special Edition Monologue. Also, we are very free to speak about all kinds of things pertaining to witchcraft and occultism at our private discussion, which is part of the patronage program. If you are looking for real information about what is going on in the world and about witchcraft, you’re not going to find it in the frequently trafficked places of the web. It’s always been like this a little bit, but it’s worse right now. Real occult information is being shared privately, not publicly.
